First Choice
First Choice Tree Service was founded in Las Vegas in 1989 by Anthony “Tony” Valenti, whose career in Southern Nevada’s green industry began long before the company opened its doors. His background in horticulture, landscape irrigation and design, landscape business ownership, and golf course management gave him a practical understanding of the trees and landscapes that thrive in our unique desert environment.
What began as a full-service tree care company steadily grew to meet the changing needs of Southern Nevada. Over the years, First Choice expanded its capabilities to include landscape design and construction, plant health care and pest control, commercial grounds maintenance, tree relocation, emergency response, and other specialized outdoor services.
Although our services have grown, our purpose has remained the same: to provide skilled workmanship, dependable service, clear communication, and responsible solutions for every property we serve.

Leadership At the Root of First Choice
Tony Valenti brought decades of industry knowledge and hands-on experience to the company he founded. As an ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Treecare Safety Professional, his commitment to education, safety, and professional tree care helped establish the standards that continue to guide First Choice today.
Tony’s influence also extends beyond the company. He has served on the board of the Southern Nevada Arborist Group, received the Trailblazer Award for his contributions to local arboriculture, and shared his knowledge through industry conferences and professional publications.
More importantly, his belief in developing people, improving safety, and doing the job correctly has helped shape a company culture built around professionalism, accountability, and continuous learning.

Today, First Choice Tree Service serves residential and commercial properties, HOA communities, municipalities, golf courses, resorts, and major destinations throughout Southern Nevada. We are licensed, bonded, insured, and have been TCIA Accredited since 2009—one of only two accredited tree care companies in Nevada.
